Art Toolbox 6

Curriculum

Art Toolbox alternates every other school year between Drawing & Painting and Mixed Media.

Art Toolbox: Drawing and Painting develops drawing skills using various materials including pen, pencil, charcoal and pastels, as well as developing painting techniques using acrylic, watercolor and gouache. Students will create from both their imagination and from observation.

Art Toolbox: Mixed Media allows students to make three-dimensional art, with the process as the primary goal. Students will use paper, clay, textiles and metal. Students will create from both their imagination and from observation.

Home Studies

• No homework will be assigned.
• Regular progress reports will be sent to parents.

Prerequisites

• This is not an entry-level class; previous art experience is required.
