Curriculum

Science & Engineering leads students on an exploration of God’s creation through in-class lab activities and projects for the budding scientist. Our science adventures will include astronomy, the human body, weather, insects, geology, principles of motion and energy, plants, and more! Lessons explaining electrical, structural, aerodynamic, and chemical engineering topics will give the student knowledge for their “tool kits,” while invention and exploration assignments will guide them as they put their tools to work as we learn and use the Engineering Design Process.

Home Studies

• The average student should plan to devote approximately one hour or less each week to homework.
• Regular progress reports will be sent to parents.

Prerequisites

• Students must be eleven years of age by September 1st.
